Developing Student-Centered Assessments (Course Design Series: Session 2)

During this workshop, we will use the principles of student-centered course design to discuss how instructors can design assessments that reflect their course goals, minimize cheating, and take student well-being into account. Participants will be able to share what has worked for them and workshop challenges involved in designing assessments beyond the high-stakes exam.

This is part of Learning Innovation's winter Course Design Series.

Are you designing a syllabus for the Spring semester? In this series of workshops you will learn and apply a process to design courses in which learning objectives, activities, and assessments are aligned. Instructors are encouraged to attend all of the workshops in the series to get a head start on their Spring syllabus and gain a full understanding of student-centered course design.
