DESCRIPTION:What do you need to know about standards of copyright and fair 
 use when sharing materials in online learning management systems\, digital 
 publishing projects\, open educational resources\, or your thesis and 
 dissertation? How can digital note taking tools help you make sure that you 
 keep track of your sources\, and that your references are appropriate and 
 complete? Specialists in Copyright and Information Policy\, Digital 
 Publishing\, and International and Area Studies at Duke Libraries will 
 provide opportunities for a wide-ranging discussion of copyright issues in 
 online environments.  This workshop is intended for graduate students in 
 the Humanities and Social Sciences.  Students in engineering and sciences 
 should to register for Copyright and Fair Use in Research and Publishing 
 for Engineeering and Sciences\, which will address similar topics in their 
 disciplines.
