SUMMARY:Resilient Duke: an ONLINE climate themed reading group
DESCRIPTION:Interested in climate change? Want to think about practical
and optimistic actions that you can implement? This group is for you!
Resilient Duke is an online space for the Duke community to discuss
applying pragmatically optimistic* ideas to address climate change. Join
facilitators Faith Haines\, Master’s student at UNC School of Information
and Library Science\, and Jodi Psoter\, Librarian for Climate &
Sustainability\, to talk about how we can reframe climate narratives and
bring climate optimism to conversations and solutions. \n\n*The term
“pragmatic climate optimism” is attributed to the talk “The Case for
Climate Optimism” given by Charlie Sellars at the Duke University Fuqua
School of Business on October 8\, 2025.\n\n
