Citation Manager Matchmaking: Finding the Best Fit

In this workshop, we’ll compare four major citation managers—EndNote, Zotero, Mendeley, and RefWorks—examining key features of each product, including data import/export options, support for collaboration, available bibliographic styles, duplicate detection, and note and annotation features. By the end of the session participants will be able to evaluate citation management tools and select those that best meet their needs. The first half of the workshop will include demonstration and an outline of criteria for choosing the best fit. The second half of the workshop will be hands-on, so that participants can install and explore the different citation managers with help from instructors.
