ONLINE: The Summer LGBTQIA+ SciFi Book Crew reads "A Memory Called Empire"

Climb aboard for a wild ride with the summer LGBTQIA+ SciFi Book Crew as we investigate a mystery in A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine! The new ambassador arrives, with the old ambassador on the inside. On-planet intrigue, murder? and more! (A Hugo award winner.). We'll meet to discuss on Wednesday, August 11th, from noon-12:50pm on Zoom.

RSVPs are required to reserve your spot on the queer rocket ship. The Zoom link will be emailed out the morning of the meeting.

Borrow a copy of the book from Duke University Libraries (print and ebook), Durham County Library (print, ebook and audio), Chapel Hill Public Library (print and ebook), Orange County Library (print), and Wake County Library (print). The audiobook is also available through Hoopla.

Want to purchase your own copy? Support a local bookstore: Regulator Bookshop, Epilogue, Golden Fig Books, and the Gothic Bookshop!

This series is co-sponsored by Duke University Libraries, oSTEM, WiSE and the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity. Join us for monthly online meetings in June, July and August featuring science fiction books by LGBTQIA+ identifying authors.
