Welcome to the workshop series! Get to Know Your Libraries and Pratt Graduate Communications Center is the first of eight workshops in the Keep Calm and Do Research: A Virtual Summer Workshop Series.
This session is designed to give you a gentle overview of the Duke University Libraries' online resources, services available during COVID-19, and unique services available at the Pratt GCC. Keep calm while learning search tips to streamline remote access and research.
* This is a free and open workshop, but pre-registration is required for Zoom access. We’ll send out a Zoom link in the morning of the meeting.
Michelle M. Campbell, Ph.D., is a Communications Consultant for Graduate Communications and Intercultural Programs in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University. She teaches writing classes, facilitates workshops, and works one-on-one with engineering graduate students in the Pratt Graduate Communications Center. Dr. Campbell earned her Ph.D. from Purdue University, where she taught oral and written communications for graduate students and served as the Graduate Writing Workshop Coordinator for the Purdue Writing Lab.
Sarah Park is the Librarian for Engineering and Computer Science at Duke University. She assists faculty, students, and staff with research through classroom instruction and research consultations and collaborates with other librarians and faculty to ensure that the library’s collection supports the curriculum and research needs in those subject areas. She studied Library and Information Science and Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Northwest Missouri State University.
