They say go big or go home--we’re doing both! Duke University Libraries Low Maintenance Book Club goes online to present the Big Books Edition. We’re reading those hefty novels that you always meant to get around to, but….

Over three monthly meetings, we’ll discuss Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield (just in time to watch The Personal History of David Copperfield, starring Dev Patel). The first meeting will take place on Zoom, Tuesday, April 21st, noon-1pm EST and cover the Preface through Chapter 18. 

Electronic copies of David Copperfield can be found through Duke University Libraries and most public libraries. 

Although the readings are longer, the low maintenance attitude is the same. We’re all dealing with a lot right now! Join as you like, discuss as much as you want--or just hang out and enjoy the company. Everyone is welcome. Just RSVP so we know how many to expect, and we’ll send out a Zoom link the morning of the meeting.
