Teaching as Research: Engaging with Scholarship around Teaching and Learning

Join Kim Manturuk, Associate Director of Research, Evaluation, and Development at Learning Innovation, for a discussion about the growing community of faculty members engaged in research on teaching and learning. Kim will share how her team collaborates with instructors and program staff across the university to develop research plans and identify scholarship opportunities. She will also share some of the resources that Learning Innovation offers instructors interested in doing research on their own teaching practice, from managing the IRB approval process to handling data collection and student consent records.
