Duke Online Learning Collaborative: Focus on Hybrid/Blended Program Models & Design Resources

Learning Innovation invites you to join us for this monthly interest group to share new ideas and innovations in online teaching and learning. (1) First, we’ll hear from Professor Kristen Stephens (Education) who shares a blended/hybrid program model (teaching approach, instructional design, and digital tools) that reaches teaching cohorts across multiple districts. Professor Stephens will also discuss the digital pedagogies she’s implemented in EDUC 241: Promising Paradigms: Issues and Innovations in American Classrooms, a Duke summer online course she’s taught for several years. (2) Then, at 3:45pm we transition to a discussion led by Sophia Stone & Laura Lipps on the many resources available by the Online Learning Consortium that you can use in your online program.
