Digital Humanities Consulting Workshop: Practicing digital scholarship consultations

Over three consecutive Wednesdays, DSS and the Humanities Section of RIS will host a workshop to develop librarians’ skills in digital scholarship consultation. This workshop is based on the 2018 ALA Preconference “Deconstructing Digital Scholarship Consultations in the Library” and serves as a pilot for training DUL librarians to consult on digital scholarship projects. Seating is limited to 15 people. Preference will be given to subject liaisons who work with humanities departments and projects.

July 25 - Practicing Digital Scholarship Consultations
At this third and final workshop, participants will expand their awareness of different possibilities for approaching the same consultation, and develop the practice of talking with others in order to come to conclusions.
