Open Educational Resources 101

Duke faculty and academic support staff are invited to attend a workshop on Open Educational Resources. Open educational resources (OERs) are materials for teaching and learning that are freely available to be used, reused, revised, remixed, and redistributed in any classroom. Participants will discuss OER definitions and history, and leave with some example OERs to explore and ideas for further investigation.

Workshop facilitators: Andrea Novicki (Senior Academic Technology Consultant, Learning Innovation) and Jolie Tingen (Learning Technology Analyst, Learning Innovation)
