Teaching for a Stronger Democracy Across Disciplines
Higher education’s mission includes ensuring the future and health of democracy, but how does that play out across disciplines? Nancy Thomas, Director of the Institute for Democracy and Higher Education at Tufts University will facilitate a session for faculty and staff to discuss the realities and challenges of the classroom that prevent this kind of learning and how we can each step up to fulfill our responsibility.
