Visualization in Excel using Pivot Tables

[Online] Pivot Tables are one of the easier ways to go from detailed data to aggregate charts in Microsoft Excel, but many people don't know how to or are uncomfortable making Pivot Tables. This workshop will be a very basic introduction to how to use Pivot Tables to summarize your data and make those patterns clearer through visualization with charts in Excel. This event is open to non-Duke participants.

Software: If you're planning on playing along with the exercises, you'll need a version of Microsoft Excel installed on your computer. It will also be easier if you have two monitors so you can watch me over Zoom while you're working in Excel.

The event is offered virtually. A zoom link will be sent via email to registered participants to join the workshop. The content of the workshop may be recorded. If you are uncomfortable with a recording being published, please contact the instructor at any time prior to the conclusion of the workshop.
