Bring Your Data and Get Started with the Duke Research Data Repository

[In-person] This workshop will provide an overview of the Duke Research Data Repository and how it can help Duke researchers comply with funder and journal policies as well as meet growing standards around data stewardship and sharing, such as the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) Guiding Principles. In the first part of this workshop the general functionalities of the platform as well as tips for submitting data will be discussed. In the second part participants will be encouraged to bring their own datasets and start a data deposit. Data curators will be present to help answer questions as you begin packaging and preparing your data for sharing. This event is intended for Duke participants only.

Lunch will be provided - come have some pizza and publish your data!

This workshop will be held in person in the Edge Workshop Room. If you cannot attend, data curation staff can provided individual support for deposit into the Duke Research Data Repository by contacting datamanagement@duke.edu

The content of the workshop may be recorded. If you are uncomfortable with a recording being published, please contact the instructor at any time prior to the conclusion of the workshop.
