This month we'll explore online program design & game design elements for digital learning in the health professions. Guest speakers include (1) Rebecca Kameny, PhD, Population Health Sciences, who will discuss the design, digital tools, video approach, and implementation of a new blended program with online modules taught by an interdisciplinary faculty with expertise in research methodology, data science and advanced statistical approaches using secondary datasets, and (2) Enrique Cachafeiro, Duke OESO, who attended the Serious Play Conference will share an introduction to using game elements for education and training, highlighting case studies relevant to the health professions. We'll share resources to help you get started in your digital education projects.
