This workshop will build on the basic Visualization in R using ggplot2 workshop (see a previous recording and the associated files). The workshop will offer more practice through additional examples and chart types. We will also cover customizations to charts by editing chart themes, adding annotations, and using color palettes. Prior experience with R and ggplot2 is expected for this workshop.

In this workshop, we will use RStudio and RMarkdown files for all exercises. You may use the in-room computers, but if you prefer to bring your own laptop, but please make sure you come with RStudio and the tidyverse package installed.  You may also want to install the knitr package to be able to compile the entire Rmarkdown file.

The content of the workshop may be recorded. Cameras will capture the instructor station and the display screen. Ambient audio, including verbal audience  participation, will be included on the recording. Registration for the workshop indicates consent.
