Tableau Boot Camp

Tableau is specially-designed software for the easy design of interactive charts, maps, and dashboards. In this boot camp, we will start from the beginning with learning Tableau and work through several data sets that highlight different chart types, different data structures, and different challenges within Tableau.

Note: Workshop participants must bring a Mac or PC laptop with Tableau installed.  Students should consider registering for a free license to the full version of Tableau Desktop. Other participants can sign up for a free two-week trial of the full version of Tableau Desktop or install the free Tableau Public instead.

Target audience: This workshop is especially designed for Tableau beginners.  Existing Tableau users may prefer to register for one of our more advanced workshops, or they may wish to get a refresher on Tableau by watching our previously-recorded workshops.  This boot camp will build on previous, shorter workshops and may involve some repetition for attendees or viewers of previous workshops.
